...fly away home!
The other Saturday, our cute little masterplanned community had a garden fair. To celebrate the opening of the garden fair, the children were invited to participate in a ladybug release.

We took Eli because we know how much he loves bugs...and, it's a cute idea, and I wanted to talk with some master gardeners at the fair.
We released the ladybugs at the garden fair and then they gave us each a container of ladybugs to take home and release in our own garden.
I picked the container that had the MOST ladybugs because I was selfish and wanted them for my garden.
The three of us released the ladybugs together and I'm happy to announce that Eli didn't squash one of them. He was gentle, he was concerned, he was sweet.***
On another note, happy Friday!
Yesterday was a BIG day in our home. A BIG day in potty-land. Eli wore big boy undies ALL DAY long. We even went to Lowe's, where he asked to use the potty and actually did. Then, we went to lunch where he did the same. Then, in the evening we took a long walk with NO ACCIDENTS! He didn't dirty ONE DIAPER today...wow the money we're going to save!
