Wooden Horse

During one of our weekly outings...we went to the Arboretum. They had cute games and crafts for little ones to play. Eli enjoyed riding this little wooden horse.

During our Arboretum trip, I was stopped by a few ladies who commented on Eli's cute little curls. I guess I didn't realize how adorable (and highly desired) his curls are. I am now very grateful for his curls. He wouldn't look like Eli if he had straight hair.
***
But, then I realized how crazy Eli's hair was getting because I hadn't cut it in quite a while. He had a fro. It was big. It was wild. It wasn't very cute.
***
So, I cut his hair...short, short, short. I didn't want to have to cut it again in two weeks, so I cut it short. Then, I realized all his curls were gone. I was sad. Eli looked too much like a big boy. I didn't like it.
***
Then, a few days later his hair grew (fast just like mine) and his curls reappeared. I am once again happy!
