i guess the ground hog didn't see his shadow, so apparently spring is near.
i don't buy it though. our ground hog saw his shadow and we're freezing on our little cul-de-sac.
our dogs have been camping out in the garage with a space heater. we've been chipping away at the ice in our driveway because whenever we open the garage door, they both go sliding down.
i bundled up and headed outside to watch some cold birds cuddle in the trees. i tried to take a picture but they were camera shy.
our latest california in a box was filled with tons of bubble wrap. it has brought us hours of fun. really. all four of us.
last night i barely slept. if i wasn't taking eli back to his room, then i was checking on my girl who is sick. i made the mistake of leaving the bubble wrap out and at 4:30am i walked down the hall half asleep hearing pops with each footstep.
next i slid on some ice as i took a turn on the road. didn't like that at all.
and finally i bought a bouquet of mums for our breakfast nook table because i needed them to bring some warmth to my day.
