the thanksgiving festivities have started in our home. a feast at barn school took place on thursday. it's so much fun to watch emma at the barn. her days of sitting back while eli enjoys the barn are long gone. it's her turn and i'm still giddy that she has two years to attend.
this weekend and next week all i want to do is enjoy my family. enjoy the days off. enjoy a few crafts. perhaps plant another few dozen bulbs in the garden. i want to put the children to bed after reading a thanksgiving book or two or three. i want to finally bake some banana bread and take it over to one of our neighbors whom i've never met. i want to not rush. and the word 'hurry' will not slip off my tongue at all. not once.
