emma went on her first field trip with barn school. she was giddy. this cute little pumpkin patch and zoo is just minutes from our home. i love where we live!
all emma really cared about were the horses. she's obsessed with horses these days. i think we'll return to the petting zoo this weekend so she can have a pony ride.
one of the little boys in emma's class actually lives here! this is his backyard. his parents run the petting zoo year round. they brought out fruit for the kids to feed to the animals. emma grabbed some watermelon for the pigs and grapes for the sheep. but i, i just had to feed a carrot or two or three to the horses.
a beautiful day spent with my beautiful girl.
