This last week of April has been stormy. Super stormy. And, lovely. The great thing about Texas weather is...just give it a minute, it will pass. On any given day we could have clear skies, warm sun and then pouring rain. Our neighbors house was struck by lightening this week. It brought our entire cul-de-sack out of their homes and in front of our home to chat. It was great. I love building friendships and talking with new people. I ended up giving garden tours before dinner.
Instead of finding shelter indoors, we headed outside...
What's so fun about staying indoors when it's raining?
Then you miss this...
And watching this little boy in heaven...
Burning off some energy before bedtime...
And this little girl, holding her tight while watching her brother play...
Watching her dream of the day when she'll jump in puddles and run in the rain...
