dear marigold lovers

i am a marigold lover. i love them for a few reasons. they bloom from spring to fall. the bright yellow and orange blooms add character to the garden. and they naturally repel pests. i plant them every single year, i plant tons of them.

here's the key to marigolds.
once the blooms die, snap them off.
turn the dead blooms upside down and twist and roll them between your fingers.
this will release all the seeds.
scatter those seeds where you wish.
and in no time, you'll have an abundance of marigolds smiling back at you.

Wow -- thanks for the tip! You were the one who told me about their pest fighting abilities last ear, and I was sold!
