so here we are. 2010 has come to an end and 2011 will begin. i love the turning of a new year. fresh start, new, clean. love it.
i learned a lot about myself this year. i learned i'm just a bit stronger than i thought. i smiled on the mountain top and cried in the valley. a bunch of ups and downs. 2010 made me feel life a bit more. i learned to love deeper. to accept change a bit easier.
tonight the four of us were driving home late. the sunroof was open as we drove down the highway while david and i talked about our new years plans. at this exact moment in my life, i couldn't be more content. and that is what 2010 taught me. to be content. to sit next to my husband of 10 years and know there is no one else i'd rather be with. to giggle with my children often. to throw every ounce of a schedule aside just to say 'yes' when they beg for a trip to the park.
2010 made me content and i am beyond grateful.

november gave us scarves and a sweet chill in the air...
december gave us the most glorious cruise with just us and...
a family of four staying home for christmas.
