A Garden Tour for Michelle

My friend and fellow gardener requested some recent pictures of my garden. Here you go.
The entrance to our garden.
This is the vegetable/fruit/herb side of the garden.
Cherry tomatoes galore, so many that the plants are falling over.
Bell peppers.
Roma tomato plants, my favorite tomato.
Fragrant jasmine climbing up the fence.
Some cute little flowers, my favorite in the garden this year. Along with our garden mascot,
Mr. Snail.
The flower portion of the garden. Roses growing like crazy. Most days there are so many roses that we pick a few for our breakfast nook table.
Roses, roses everywhere.

Our garden is young indeed. I already have big plans for our garden next year. I want it to be lush and big. I want to have veggies growing like crazy. So many that I show up at the neighbors front door with my recent harvest.

Garden goodies not photographed include:
strawberries
herbs
asparagus
lavender
black-eyed susan
knockout rose
...
Happy Friday dear readers. Today I'm off to the doctor for my six week post delivery visit. I can't believe it's already been six weeks. Other items on today and this weekends to do list:
clip my dear children's nails
some jewelry making (my newest craft obsession)
watch David mow our yard
and
just relax
hope you're able to do the same!

Wow Melissa, I don't know how I missed this earlier, but thanks for posting it. You have a beautiful garden. I too have big plans for my garden next year, and I hope I will actually get some photos taken then. I agree that corn is just not worth it, and I probably ought to leave melon growing to farmers too. I have had luck with pumpkins though; have you grown any? The kids really had fun with them. I also want to plant a lot more flowers next year, so I think I will be spending some time thinking about that this winter.
