the fourth of july took us...
on a drive down a country road...

to watch the texas sky...

and pass 2,000 fireworks stands...

and walk down a perfect crooked and cracked sidewalk...

to a grassy knoll where hundreds of people gathered...

and i sat in my pink skirt...

to watch the beauty of the sky lighting up to the booms of fireworks.
