The day I cooked fish

Yesterday, for the first time in my life, I cooked fish.
Not tuna.
Not fish sticks.
Real fish.
I cooked salmon.
It wasn't my idea either, you see, I don't eat fish. I think I've eaten a fish stick or two in my lifetime. But, my dear husband wanted salmon, so, I cooked it. Here was my process:
1) Search 'how to cook salmon' on the internet
2) Find a recipe. Study the recipe.
3) Take the salmon fillet out of the package. Call my dad and ask him, "what on earth do I do with these nasty scales?" Take in the sweet smell of fish. Grab the air freshener. Spray. Spray. Spray.
4) Wrap the salmon fillet in foil. But wait, you need to marinade it!
5) Mix the ingredients...evoo, basil, parsley, salt, pepper, garlic. Pour over fish.
The verdict...
David said it was very tasty. Restaurant quality. Not bad for my first time.
I will spend the day today trying to get the fish smell out of our home. I tough task since it's raining and I can't open the windows.
Why don't I eat fish you ask?
I'm a firm believer that I shouldn't eat anything that does smell good. Ask my parents, I've always smelled my food prior to consuming it.
