clothespin wreath

my dear friend amy and i led the mops craft this morning.

inspired by THIS blog post, we made a clothespin wreath.

here's what we did:
-took a wire hanger and shaped it like a heart. the original project didn't require cutting the hanger. But we wanted a smaller heart, so we cut the bottom and twisted it to close the heart.
-next, i found a wood slat a little over 7"x2" and spray painted it with chalkboard paint.
-attached all the clothespins.
-attached the chalkboard by clipping it in.
-wrote a sweet message.

display the wreath anywhere indoors. i choose the pantry door. been writing messages to my husband ever since!

Love it! What a great idea. And, thanks for the blog link. That's a god one. You've inspired me. I am going to post my last MOPS craft next.
