New in the garden. Heirloom tomatoes. So adorable that I don't even think I can bring myself to cook up something lovely with them.
Today it poured rain just a mile down the road. I watched the clouds and so wanted them to change direction so it would pour on the garden. Didn't happen.
An evening bike ride called our name. We headed down our street, turned right and there was a little girl riding her bike also. Our eyes met and she said, "such a nice night for a ride huh?" I nodded my head but really wanted to get off my bike and pinch her cheeks.
I delivered a 16 inch cucumber to my neighbors down the street. I always forget their names so I call them the red truck people.
Tickets have been bought for a trip to California. The three of us will pack light and head home. Usually I don't start singing my usual traveling song until a week before a trip, but this trip is different. Already singing the song with a little over three weeks before departure. Forgive the cheesy video, just listen to the song.
