My mom is leaving today. This means I will be sad. Possibly for a week. Normally, I would look my garden to cheer me up, but, my spring garden is coming to an end. Goodbye bright red cherry tomatoes, deep green cucumbers and zucchini. Goodbye basil, oh how I've loved your fragrance. I told my mom I would visit my favorite clothing store this week and buy a fall cardigan in her honor. This will cheer me up, surely it will.
Now excuse me, I'm off to buy a new cardigan to bring a smile to my face.
