It's no secret how much Eli loves the water. The other day we headed out to our backyard. I sat at the bistro table while I watched Eli play on his slide. Then, since I'm not the type of person who can just sit still, I thought our little Bradford Pear Tree needed some water. I pulled the hose out and we watered the tree. Then watered the dogs. Then I thought I would wash off our cute little patio. In the process I created a puddle. Here's an equation:Puddle + Eli = Loads of Fun
I don't discourage Eli from playing in puddles or getting dirty even though it means more work for me. That's what being a child is all about...that's what being a mom is all about!Yesterday I had to go back to the doctor and take a 3 hour glucose tolerance test for gestational diabetes. My one hour glucose test came back abnormal. So, I had to fast 12+ hours then drink this super nasty sweet orange drink, then have my blood drawn four different times, one hour a part each time. It took forever. I gaged on the drink. I was super tired because they took so much blood. I was really stressed out that I might have gestational diabetes.
***
I kept this test a secret because I was worried enough as it is. I didn't tell anyone. I apologize to those I didn't tell, but I felt it was better to keep it to myself.***
The doctor called this morning with the results. All is well in my womb. I do not have gestational diabetes. I am happy. I am no longer grumpy. I am no longer worried. We are going out for ice cream to celebrate (just joking)!***
Happy Friday to all my dear readers!

I had to do this same test and things came back normal!! Wasn't it disgusting? I remember getting really shaky and wanting to throw up. Glad you are okay.
