Green Beans

The green beans are growing like crazy...that's if the grasshoppers would stay off of them! Hopefully we'll get some green beans before the first frost. Last January/February it got SUPER cold and down to about 20 degrees. Do you remember that Mom and Dad? Burrrr, it was cold. Well, naive me thought it wasn't normal for Texas. But, the other day I asked Kelly about it and she said it IS normal and it happens every winter. Wow, I wasn't expecting that. I really don't mind cold weather but I didn't think it got that cold every year! I guess I'll have to cover my garden with blankets with hopes that everything doesn't freeze!
