Welcome to Our Home in December

Here we go folks. Our home in December. It's been chilly and cloudy for the past couple of days which is why my pictures are that great. They required a flash, but I'd rather photograph in natural light. Take off your shoes and stay a while...
My kitchen display. My signature handpainted plate. A collection of snowmen on my Grandmothers plate platter. And, and advent calendar from my mom.
For some reason, I can't find my Christmas placemats. But, I found these little bird placemats and fell in love.
Even Eli's little table is decorated. Cute story, I decided to decorate Eli's tree when he was sleeping. When he woke up and saw it his said the following, "Oh, thank you mommy...it's beautiful!" Then he went on to name all the ornaments.
A homespun Christmas decoration. I cut a branch from our willow oak tree so I could display my little bird ornaments. Looks a lot cuter is person. Want to come over and see it?
Oh, how I love our to decorate our buffet table
Ornaments hanging from our formal dining room window
Oh, Christmas tree, how I love thee. Covered with my favorite ornaments, wooden cranberry garland and topped with a brilliant golden star. The first thing Eli does every morning, is request the lights be turned on our Christmas tree.
Our home in December is...
cozy
smells like sweet cinnamon and pine
red
green
bright
brilliant
always loved
