I took this picture of you yesterday and I nearly melted. Your smile, your face, those eyes...who wouldn't melt. Today you were content, well, until you pooped out of your diaper and all over your cute pink outfit. I took you to your doctor yesterday and she said your bottom teeth are getting ready to appear. You had two shots yesterday and only cried a second or two...I am very proud of you. My sweet Emma, I love when you wake up in the morning and rather than cry, you just lay in your (or our) bed, looking at the ceiling and smile and coo and scream. Dear Emma, you so don't look like me but that's okay, I call you your Daddy's twin. I hope your eyes stay bright blue but I wouldn't mind if your hair grew in dark, dark, dark. Dear Emma, yesterday we took dinner to a sweet new mom whose 10 week old daughter just had surgery. We stayed and talked for an hour, I hugged you tighter after our visit because I feel so blessed to have healthy children. Dear Emma, I love you dearly, wouldn't trade you for the world and I simply love being you mother.
Love,
the one who takes care of you and loves you with a passion
