Birthday Boy

Today is this man's birthday. He's 31. Let me tell you a little bit about our birthday boy...

I met him when he was 15. I married him when he was 21. We've visit Maui three times together. He loves going camping. He loves drinking wine. He's very handsome but for some reason looks even more handsome when he's holding a baby. He loves having a 'project car.' His sports teams include the following: Los Angeles Lakers, L.A. Angels, USC Trojan and N.O. Saints. He changes diapers, reads books and assists Eli on the potty. He's not jealous of my love affair with pumpkins. He knows the Bible and amazes me how he can quote it. He has a sweet tooth. He's a coffee drinker. He does dishes, mows the lawn, picks up dog poo, washes my car, organizes the garage, changes our oil and takes out the trash. He strives to live a simple life. He's genuine.

Today I will bake him a birthday cake and nicely display it on my grandmothers milk glass cake platter. We'll go out to dinner. He'll open presents. We'll relax.
