trees, trees, trees

my dream garden is random, lush and overgrown. 

my dream backyard is covered with grass and an abundance of trees.

since we bought a new home, we had to start from scratch.

over the past 2 years i've labored in my little garden, pulling up grass, digging out flower and vegetable beds. it's a work in progress, might always be that way too!

after we moved into our Texas home we planted one lone bradford pear tree. but, i decided mr. pear tree needed some friends. off to lowe's we went to buy a georgia peach tree and a red delicious apple tree. they are stick trees i know, really, the stakes that hold them up are bigger than the tree itself. but, i will dream, dream, dream and they will grow, grow, grow.

i'm in the market for a golden delicious or granny smith apple tree to pollinate our apple tree. not sure when we'll see fruit, but the day we do will be a glorious one! can't wait!
