I met David when I was 14.I was engaged at 20.
I was married at the ripe age of 21.
So here are 21 reasons why I've loved this man for over half my life:
he always has encouraged my creativity
he's a risk taker
he doesn't mind when I wear his clothes
he loves, loves, loves Jesus
when I'm sad, he can always make me feel better
when I was in college, he put up with me during mid-terms and finals
he gave me a son and a daughter
he's mechanical, we have never had to take one of our cars to a mechanic
he gets up with Eli in the morning so I can sleep in with Emma
he doesn't mind if I nail holes in the wall, it's nothing a little putty & touch up paint can't fix
he encourages my gardening
he keeps life in perspective
he enjoys camping
he takes evening walks with us
he holds Emma often and walks the halls of our home so she will fall asleep
he helped me decorate our home
he changes diapers, does laundry, does dishes, picks up dog poo and mows the lawn
he prayerfully leads our family
he loves me despite the weird things I do
he makes me laugh, and laugh, and laugh
he's handsome but doesn't realize just how handsome he is
